Welcome Survivors, Elders, Families, and Visitors to our Wa-Say Healing Centre Inc website.
There are 165,000 plus First Nation people in Manitoba and all are affected one way or another by effects of the Indian Residential Schools, the Indian Day Schools and the Sixties Scoop. We also have family members of the Missing Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls who also need our help.
So many need support and we must focus how it is we provide a safe place to do so. We want to take this time together to sit, listen, and share ways of reclaiming our identity. But most importantly, to respect others needs and to continue the healing process. There is a lot of work ahead of us.
We understand all healing is connected and when one of us heals, it adds to the healing of others.
